6. File Naming Convention

3D Conversion will name files from electronic/paper sources provided by client.

Customer will provide rules for naming convention.

 

 7. Units of measure

One unit in the CAD file is equal to one millimeter.

One unit in the CAD file is equal to one inch.

One unit in the CAD file is equal to one (e.g. foot, meter, etc).

 

8. Accuracy

3D Conversion will match the number of digits from electronic/paper sources.

Customer will provide rules for number of digits.

 

9. Model Scale

The CAD model will be created at full size (1:1)

Customer will provide model scale: (e.g. 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, etc )

 

10. Start Part Files

Customer will provide start part, start assembly, start drawing and/or  config.pro files.

3D Conversion will use default start part, start assembly, start drawing files.

 

11. Start Part Library

Standard parts library will be provided by customer to 3D Conversion.

3D Conversion will use internal standard parts library modeled after ISO/DIN, Machinery Hand  Book (screws, nuts, washers, pins, bushings, etc.)

 

12. Parameters and Relations

Standard parameters and driving relation will be provided by customer.

3D Conversion will use parameters and relations made after drawings or neutral solids.

 

13. Drawing Creation

    13.1 Drafting Standard  (*)

         The drawings will be created using standard (e.g. ISO , DIN etc).

 

    13.2 Drawing Bill of Materials (BOM)

         Customer will provide file assembly containing BOM.

         Assemblies will not contain a BOM table.

         3D Conversion will draw BOM as originals.

 

    13.3 Title Block

         Customer will provide file containing Title Block

         Drawings will not contain a Title Block.

         3D Conversion will draw Title Block as originals.

 

    13.4 Revision Block

         Customer will provide file containing Revision Block

         Drawings will not contain a Revision Block.

         3D Conversion will draw Revision Block as originals.

 

    13.5 Drawing Notes

         Complete the drawing notes per provided documentation.

         Customer will provide rules regarding drawing notes.

 

To ensure that 3D Conversion meet your specific standards before the actual conversion, we recommend that you send us at least 10 documents together with your custom layering standards, and other special requirements for an initial conversion.
