Procedures

    The following section briefly describes the steps performed from the time we receive your order, to reviewing and validation of the work done, and completion of the project.

1.  Upon receipt of your order, we inspect and check against the Order Form list provided. Your project's special requirements are reviewed by our staff engineers These special requirements include start parts, layering standards, title blocks, fonts, hatching and file naming conventions.

     We notify you by e-mail that we received your order, and inform you of any missing required paperwork like undimensioned drawings, unclear data and data conflicts. Particularly in case of damaged source data we need additional prints.

2.  We will process considering your requests and also give you a mandatory price and time plan for further similar drafts. We await your confirmation of acceptance.

     On confirmation, we begin production. Completed work is sent to the client on daily/weekly as required.

3.  3D Conversion performs two levels of quality assurance (QA) for each converted CAD file. If errors are detected at any level, the file is returned to the original CAD operator for corrections. Once corrections have been made, the file re-enters the Level 1 QA again.

•  Level 1 QA : Visual check

       We plot converted file and compare it to original document for errors or omissions. The file is also reviewed for compliance with all special instructions, layering schemes and standards. Errors and omissions are noted and the CAD manager works with CAD operator to assure that all errors and omissions are corrected as necessary.                     

•  Level 2 QA : Electronic check

       We visually compare that the electronic file matches the original document. Geometry checking is accomplished once the solid model is complete. This checks mathematical accuracy of the model, including gaps, slivers, or edge overlaps, invalid geometry definitions, interference analysis and material definition on each component. 

4.  On completion of the project and last delivery we await final acceptance from the client. For electronic files sent via e-mail or FTP we compress files using a self-extracting ZIP compression tool like WinZip. There is a period of six months guarantee for all the work completed.

5.  We will maintain your electronic CAD files, your Project Standards and files resulting from scanning the original document for 3 years, unless otherwise specified.
